
Dr. Pratt received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The University of Western Ontario. She completed her doctoral internship at The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, and has worked in different pediatric settings in the Eastern provinces (The IWK Grace Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Community Mental Health Services in Saint John, New Brunswick). Dr. Pratt has also worked at a tertiary care centre (CPRI in London, Ontario), providing assessments and consultation to complex youth. She recently joined Norfolk Psychological Services in January of 2009.
Dr. Pratt is interested in the learning, development, and social-emotional growth of children and teens. She provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments to assist parents and children in identifying strengths and weaknesses in how they learn, and provides detailed strategies for intervention. She sees children and youth for treatment of a variety of mental health and life transition stressors, and is especially interested in working with adolescents with mood, anxiety, and self-esteem issues.
