Judy Hodgson is a clinical member of the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a Registered Family Therapist. She has been working with individuals, couples and families in the Guelph area for ten years. Currently her practice includes children, youth and adults who are experiencing a wide range of personal and/or relational concerns. Judy has a particular interest and additional training in the practice of couple therapy.
Judy brings to her work as a therapist a range of professional and personal experience. Judy taught in the public school system for several years before choosing to enroll in the Master of Science program at the University of Guelph in 1996 to specialize in couple and family therapy. The experiences of teaching school age children and raising two children of her own contribute to Judy's understanding of some of the stress individuals and couples experience. Her work often involves supporting individuals or couples as they navigate both expected and/or unexpected life transitions.
