Dr. Douglas is a counselling psychologist, registered in Ontario. She has degrees from the University of Waterloo, British Columbia and Toronto in clinical and counselling psychology. With over 20 years of experience she has worked with a wide range of issues including anxiety, assertiveness, depression, grief and loss, job loss, pain management, relationship, self-esteem, stress, trauma, work performance and general health problems. Initially trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dr. Douglas’s approach to therapy draws on a number of therapy models depending on the client’s individual needs. In addition, she has more recently focused on in-depth study of career and work issues, that include the meaning of work in people’s lives. Her vocational services include career assessment, career counselling, career planning, job search planning, and work performance coaching.
