Therapeutic Services
Within our Child and Adolescent Team we have several psychology personnel who provide therapy to children, adolescents, and families. Collectively we provide individual therapy to children and adolescents, parenting consultation services, school consultation services, and group social skills training for children.
We provide therapeutic treatment for a wide variety of challenges facing children, teens and their families including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, attention disorders, behaviour regulation, social skills development, interpersonal or familial conflict, peer conflict, suicidal thoughts or behaviour, eating disorders, and attachment-related problems. Treatment is typically preceded by an intake process to help determine the best course of action for the individual seeking treatment and the therapy is individualized for their specific needs.
The orientations represented by our personnel include cognitive-behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, emotion-focused therapy, behaviour management, and social skills group therapy.
