Welcome to Norfolk Psychological Services Child and Adolescent Team.  We are a private group practice comprised of highly committed individuals, all of whom are dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to children and adolescents.  Through our extensive psychological training, professional affiliations, and creativity, we are able to offer highly individualized counselling, psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment, and other consulting services to individuals, parents, caregivers, and families.   We liaise with our colleagues providing adult and family therapy through the Adult Team of Norfolk Psychological Services when appropriate and when requested to do so.  Such services are provided with the utmost respect for confidentiality, individual diversity and living situations, and with a commitment to excellence in all that we do.

The professionals that make up the NPS Child and Adolescent Team collectively represent the disciplines of Clinical, Counselling, Child, School, Health, and Rehabilitation Psychology. All services are provided by individuals either registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or working under the supervision of an individual who holds this certification. The diverse expertise of the NPS Child and Adolescent Team members, as well as our sensitivity to the special requirements of each client and family, allow us to provide services to individuals and families experiencing many different forms of distress or requiring many different kinds of answers, including, but not limited to: academic difficulties; disorders of attention; anxiety; depression; eating disorders; behaviour issues; teen issues; sibling conflict; and parent/child conflict.
