Dr. Bream’s role in Norfolk Psychological Services is to provide both assessment and treatment to children and their families regarding a wide variety of learning and mental health issues. She provides in-depth psychological and psychoeducational assessments that help to identify how children learn and outlines detailed strategies for intervention. Dr. Bream also serves as a consultant for Today's Parent Magazine.

Dr. Bream believes that helping parents to understand their children is the first step in any effective treatment. She has experience in doing cognitive behaviourial treatment of anxiety and depression as well as in interpersonal therapy with teens.

Dr. Bream also provides consultations to parents of children of all ages around normal developmental transitions and adjustments to major life events such as death and divorce.

Dr. Bream has an ongoing relationship with many educational institutions in the area and provides clinical supervision for university students completing their education and for post-graduate professionals who are in the process of becoming registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
